How You Can Help

The future welfare of everyone in the world depends on improved public knowledge of future consequences—like those on the bulleted list on our home page—resulting from governmental and corporate actions. Such knowledge will be provided by global modeling improvements, which you can help GVI bring about.

Why Should I Be Interested in Global Forecasting?

First of all, our globe has become a small place—what happens anywhere on the planet can affect you where you are, right now. So you have a stake in encouraging more effective, responsible government and corporate policies and actions—everywhere.

Second, “Global” forecasting does not just mean forecasting about the whole Earth taken as a single general entity. Global forecasting includes detailed forecasting about very specific regions, nations, localities, governments, corporations, and other social units. Part of what is special about GVI is its recognition that high quality forecasts at any very specific level require taking account of connections between that level and its worldwide human and natural environment

You can help by...

telling someone else about this site;
becoming interested in global modeling;
volunteering your time and talents to GVI;

contributing financially to GVI, so that the organization can pursue development and refinement of computational dynamic models and their application to global forecasting –

You can have a positive affect on our common future by helping GVI continue its program of global model development, forecasting, and education. It is hard to think of anything you personally could do to more strongly affect our common future in a positive direction.

What Will I Receive If I Affiliate With GVI?

Subscribers and members receive information on the progress of GVI’s modeling and forecasting work, a copy of each research report, and an invitation to all GVI public and business meetings.

In addition, members vote at annual business meetings. Voting can be done in person or by signing and mailing a proxy form.

Is My Global Vision Donation Tax-Deductible?

Global Vision is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Your gifts are deductible as charitable contributions in the United States.

How Do I Become an Affiliate?

Simply:

complete the linked e-Affiliation Form and submit it by clicking where indicated;
submit your payment.

There are 2 ways to make payment:

You can submit payment via your credit card through Pay Pal, using the attached link.
You can mail your check to: Global Vision, Inc., P.O. Box 4394, Ann Arbor, MI 48106-4394. Checks are payable to Global Vision, Inc.

Whichever method you use, upon receiving your payment we will match it with your submitted e-Affiliation Form and put your name on our list of affiliates.
